Science and Engineering Challenge 2009

The challenge is held at Deakin’s Waurn Ponds Campus, Geelong and is designed, through fun and practical hands-on activities, to inspire young people about the opportunities available in science, technology and engineering. The activities are aimed at Year 10 level. The home ed community has been invited to enter a team and will do so on Friday 8 May.

For more details or if you are interested in entering as part of a home-ed team, contact Sue on 5439 5134 or at robwight@optusnet.com.au . Participation is free, students bring their own lunch and families arrange their own transport to Deakin.

Held by Deakin University in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Geelong South.

Last year the home ed team won the team spirit award.
