Home educated students from all states may enter the International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS). Tests are run on seperate days for Computer skills (27 May), Science (10 June), Spelling & Writing (23 June), English (4 Aug) and Maths (19 Aug). You may enter one or all of the tests which each have an entry fee ranging from $6.60 to $12.10.
In order to enter, home educators need to provide evidence of registration and the tests need to be supervised by an independent invigulator. A statutory declaration is required to confirm the test was completed under test conditions at home or students need to attend a test session at a participating school. For more information:
