Whitehorse Home Educators are having an African Drum & Dance session 7 September 2009.

The session will commence at 11:15am and finish at 12:30pm.

Total cost per child is $9 (no additional hall hire fee for this session).

Age range: up to parents – your child will need to be able to keep their attention for this exciting event for the time period specified. As a guide: 4-10 years of age.

Each paying child will be actually participating in the performance. The performers will be providing drums/bells and shakers.

There are limited numbers for this event – first in best dressed.

Younger and/or non-participating children can be in the hall for free. We would encourage parents to bring suitable, musical instruments from home for these little people so they feel they can still be a part of it. I must stress though that if they are not a “paid for participant” they will not have access to the performers instruments.

We will not be providing extra activities on this day although people will be welcome to use the playground outside (weather permitting).
