Hi Boozayor, Unfortunately, the Maths Trust don’t accept individual entries from the public.

  3. Booba says:

when is the date limit to pay the fees??

  4. Margaret says:

Hi,I was wondering where the tests would be taken and are there sample tests or literature outlining the topics which are covered?
    Thanks.

  5. susan wight says:

Hi Margaret, the test is taken at home under exam conditions – parents sign a paper to say this requirement has been complied with. Sample papers are available here http://www.amt.canberra.edu.au/wuamc.html

  6. Lalith Kumara says:

Can any one living outside Australia participate this competion? if yes please tell me how we could apply and pay fees

  7. susan wight says:

    Hi Lalith,
I’m sorry but the turn-around time to return completed comp papers means we can’t accept overseas entries. If you contact the AMT direct though, they may have some arrangements in place which would work for you. All the best.

  8. alice says:

hi, can you use calculator on the tests

  9. susan wight says:

    Hi Alice,
The instructions state that no calculators are NOT permitted for the secondary level competitions – Junior, Intermediate and Senior

    For the primary levels –

” You may use any teaching aids normally available in your classroom, such as MAB blocks, counters, currency, calculators, play money etc. You are allowed to work on a scrap paper and teachers may explain the meaning of words in the paper”

We are able to accept late entries until the middle of next week.

Can our students (Cambodia) participate in your competition?

  33. susan wight says:

    Hi Abdulkasim,
It is not our competition. You’ll need to contact the Australian Mathematics Trust regarding entering next year. http://www.amt.edu.au/email.html

  34. amber says:

Where can i see the result of the competition this year. I got a high distinction award, but i can’t find it on the website.

  35. susan wight says:

Hi Amber, as you didn’t enter with HEN as your school, you’ll need to contact your school or the AMT directly for your results.

  36. Jane Busby says:

Hi, is it possible to get a copy of the Maths Competition my son did this year. He is in Grade 5 – School Code 31453. Would like to see what the questions were, and which ones he got wrong.

    Cheers,
    Jane Busby

  37. susan wight says:

    Hi Jane,
We don’t actually run the competition ourselves – your school may have kept a copy or you could contact the AMT directly at http://www.amt.edu.au/

  38. faisal says:

hey i am wondering what time of questions are their and how do we register

  39. Cindy says:

Do you know roughly how many points does a student need to score to get a Prize (top 0.3%) in a primary school division? 90? 100? 110? 120? I know every region is different, but I’d like to get an indication. Thanks!

  40. susan wight says:

No Cindy, I can’t help you there. I’d recommend you contact the AMT direct at http://www.amt.edu.au/email.html and ask them.

  41. susan wight says:

Hi Faisal, we only accept entries from our own members. If you are a home educator, you are most welcome to join HEN and enter next year. We notify our members when entries open. Other than that, to arrange entry, talk to your school.
